Enhancing Diversity in Motorsports

Our mission is to educate and train BWG Board Members, race attendees, youth and the general public on the importance of diversity and inclusion in all aspects of motorsports.

The Board members of Brothers and White Guys Racing (BWG Racing inc.) welcome you to our website. BWG Racing Inc. was established in 2004 with a focus on enhancing diversity within the motor sports community and creating a positive experience for all race attendees. Our board members attend numerous racing events in numerous geographical locations. We invite you to visit our website to find out more about our organization, along with keeping in tune with our current and future events.

How did we become Brothers and White Guys Racing?

It all started in 1999 in the parking lot of the Phoenix International Raceway. On that nice November day four brothers of African American descent were tailgating when they were approached by some white guys who struck up a conversation. That simple conversation of two different racial backgrounds at a motor sports event grew into an inclusive friendship which was the beginning of BWG Racing Inc.

In 2003, this multi –culture group of race fans decided they needed to exhibit to the racing community how to increase diversity and inclusiveness at motor sports events by founding BWG Racing Inc. In 2004, we established our mission statement and board of directors and incorporated as a non-profit entity in February 2005.

BWG Racing Inc. is a tax exempt 501 © 3 organization registered with the Office of the Secretary of State of Illinois.
